Minutes of the regular meeting of the Town Board of Cincinnatus held September 8, 2022 at the town hall commencing at 7:00PM.
Present:
Michael Stafford, Deputy Supervisor
Mark Christian, Councilperson
Johnathan Mckee, Councilperson
Ron Constantino, Councilperson

Jim merchant arrived at 7:25pm
Pledge of Allegiance
Call To Order; the meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Deputy Supervisor Stafford.
Approve minutes of the town board meeting of 8/18/22.
A motion to approve the minutes of the town board meeting of 8/11/22 was made by J. McKee, seconded by M. Christian.
Ayes: Stafford, McKee, Christian, Constantino
Nays: 0 motion carried
Financial Report – Town Clerk, Water Clerk, Justice
A motion was made to accept the financial reports by M. Christian, seconded by R. Constantino.
Ayes: Stafford, McKee, Christian, Constantino
Nays: 0 motion carried
4. Public Commentary
Resident Phil Hegedus speaks about meeting minutes and code officer concerns. Deputy Supervisor Stafford tells Mr. Hegedus to put his concerns in writing to the Town Board.
Reports: Highway – Steve – has quote for new box for truck
A motion was made to accept the quote from Henderson and purchase a new box for the Mack truck by J. McKee, seconded by R. Constantino.
Ayes: Stafford, Christian, McKee, Constantino
Nays: motion carried
Water – Tyler will be attending classes over the next few months
Planning Board – minutes attached
Code Enforcement – Tim’s report attached
Beautification Committee – none
Dog Warden – SPCA – none
Joint Youth – Mike-soccer has ended. Basketball in Nov.
Town Attorney – Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP
5. Old Business: sidewalk replacement – sidewalks all poured, restoration work continues
6. New Business: remove port a john from town park at end of September – Carolyn will schedule.
7. Town Budget for 2023 – Budget workshop scheduled for 9/29/22 at 6:30 pm, Tentative Budget meeting scheduled for 10/27/22 at 6:30pm, Preliminary Budget Public Hearing scheduled for 11/10/22 at 6:30pm.
8. Approval of warrants
A motion was made to approve the warrants by J. McKee seconded by R. Constantino.
Ayes: McKee, Stafford, Christian, Constantino
Nays: 0 motion carried
Jim Merchant, who arrived at 7:25 was now given the opportunity to speak. Mr. Merchant spoke about UTV clubs desire to use town roads.
9. Adjournment:
A motion was made by J. McKee, seconded by M. Christian to adjourn the meeting at 7:48 pm.

Nays: 0 motion carried
The next Town Board meeting will be October 13, 2022 at 7:00pm.
