The Town of Cincinnatus is located in upstate central New York and is one of the 19 municipalities in Cortland County. With a population of 1,051 people, the Otselic River is central to the town. The school which serves Cincinnatus and other neighboring towns is located in the Town of Cincinnatus.

Attention Town of Cincinnatus Residents:


The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Town of Cincinnatus Town Hall at 2770 Lower Cincinnatus Rd to hear any complaints on assessments. Please call 607-749-0546 or email cincyassessor@gmail.com to schedule an appointment. The tentative assessment roll can be viewed on the Cortland County Real Property Tax Services website.
